1. Data Controller
Timsan Tarım İnşaat Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. ("Timsan"; MERSİS 0844047770500028) is the data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") for the personal data processed when you write to us through the messaging channels below. This notice is provided under Article 10 of the KVKK.
Channels: our WhatsApp line (+90 533 158 00 55), our Instagram accounts (@timdigitize, @timdigitize_tr) and our Facebook pages (Timdigitize_TR, timdigitize).
2. Personal Data Processed
Name or profile name, phone number, Instagram / Facebook username and platform ID; the messages you write and the photos, videos, voice recordings, documents and locations you send; message timestamps and the status of the conversation (open / answered / closed).
3. Purposes
To answer your sales, quotation and product information requests; to resolve technical support and fault requests and provide after-sales service; to send an automatic information message outside working hours; to measure our service quality. Service quality reports only use figures that do not identify anyone (e.g. number of requests, response time).
4. Legal Grounds
Your data is processed on the following grounds of Article 5(2) of the KVKK: (c) it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (quotation, sale, service); (ç) it is necessary for us to comply with a legal obligation; (f) it is necessary for our legitimate interest in answering your requests and measuring our service quality, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.
5. Transfers
Your messages are delivered and stored through Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger), which provides the infrastructure of the messaging app you use. When preparing a reply draft, the message text — with identity and contact details such as your phone number, name and e-mail address removed — is sent to our AI service provider Anthropic PBC (USA); every reply is checked by one of our employees before it is sent. As these providers' servers are located abroad, these transfers fall under Article 9 of the KVKK; you can ask us about the safeguards these transfers rely on using the contact details below. Where required by law, your data may be disclosed to competent public authorities. Your data is not sold and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Method of Collection
Your data is collected electronically and by automated means through these messaging channels when you send us a message.
7. Retention
Conversations are kept for 2 years from the last message and then deleted or anonymised. Information that becomes part of a quotation, sale or service record is kept for the periods required by the applicable legislation.
8. Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred, to request its correction, deletion or destruction, to object to a result against you arising from analysis by automated systems, and to claim compensation for damages.
